Man, I gotta remember NOT to hit ENTER before I type my message body!! Anyway, I've asked a couple questions about this 1971 2002 I'm looking at and I've pretty much decided to buy it. Now a couple more out of many questions...
Where is a good place online to get parts such as fenders, hood, etc? Can you give me a ballpark idea of how much those things cost? And last, at the risk of committing automotive blasphemy, what about fiberglass parts??
Thanks---Steve
.....can be purchased from Korman and Ireland Engineering. They can lighten up the car, but lack in appearance. I would recommend fiberglas parts for a competition car (where allowed), but personally not chose them for street applications for both functional and cosmetic reasons.
Whats the story on fiberglass panels? ae they ugly? do they not open and close right? I was considering them as well. thanks.
