Yeah, that car on Ebay probably isn't worth nearly that much (to regulars on this board anyway). But it doesn't look as bad as a Turkis '72 Tii I saw in Sacramento a while back, going for $6K. The car had pretty good power (it smoked a little), handled very well, but wandered just a bit when trying to go straight. What turned me off was the rear shock towers (one of the front towers had rust blistering too). Plus the fact that it had a salvaged title. A couple of fellows who post here (Carl and DanG from the Sacramento area) recommended against buying it, and that made the decision to pass on it that much easier. (Thanks, guys!) But I doubt the seller had a hard time finding a buyer, considering how the market for clean-looking 02's is going.
