Hey guys,

I'm a regular on the e30 board, but my dad is considering a 2002 after a long hiatus. He's also considering an old Mercedes Diesel. Where in the world could we find a reliable seller?, he doesn't do internet buys (for cars at least), sorry. Secondly, at what price? Thanks in advance.

Dan, if he isn't into the internet buying market, your best bet is probably the roundel magazine, the bmwcca magazine, these are cars owned and maintained by bmwcca members. Some are a little over priced I think, but look into it. The closer we get to spring, the more 2002's will be in the classifieds. There are a couple of guys in our local chapter ( I am in Rochester, N.Y., the genesee valley chapter ) and they frequently bring 2002's and other models here from the west coast and also southern cars, I am now looking for my 8th 2002, and this one guy is going to look for me, most likely a nice round tail light 2002 or 2002tii. Check with members in your area also for any leads, Tim.
