headlights go in from the front. the screws you are talking about are the adjusters. remove the grills from the front of car. there are three screws around the trim ring holding light in. new bulbs will fit into stock buckets. there are recesses in the buckets for the three "clips" on the back of the bulbs. I assume a '72 is the same as a '74. HTHSteve P.

Are H4 bulbs a straight swap for the stock lights? One stock lights, there seems to be two screws and a spring holding the lamps in the buckets. On the back of the H4s, there are three clips, and I'm not sure how to get these to fit in the buckets. There doesn't seem to be any provision for the screws or the spring. Can anyone out there help me out? Thanks.
