...I tested all the wires (I have about 8 open wires due to removed emissions stuff) to see which provides power at "start" only, and none of them are live SOLELY with "start". They all get power with ignition also. So, when I hook the wires up the way I think they should be connected according to the '75 wiring diagram, the starter turns whenever the ignition is on. Not good.

I've currently got the starter jumpered through a switch so that the car can be driven. The 38/38 rocks though!!
