I am answering your question as best I can since some of the terms are not clear. The insert on the right is the control for the blower fan and coolant control OFF FAN
COLD WARM

The insert on the left is for upper and lower vent control
DEFROST OFF
HEAT OFF

I an reassembling the dash on my '76 '02 and I don't know how the aluminum inserts for the slide vent controls go back in. Specifically I need:

1. The labels for upper and lower on both sides.
2. The aluminum trim pieces are assymetrical. Does the gap go on the left or right side?
