I have a 5sp conversion using the Top End cross-member bracket. The bracket is right in the way of the speedo cable connection on the tranny. Tried banging out the tunnel, but couldn't get enough clearance. I'm about to drill a hole in the bracket itself, but thought I'd seek your collective advice first. Anyone ever encounter this problem and, if so, what did you do to solve it? TIA.
