An easy way that necessitates only a few bucks, and half an hour.

Get 3 feet of angled iron. It will be used to bridge between the original tranny mount on the shell and the center bearing mount. Shorten appropriatly the tranny crossmember (could use one from a 320 I think).

Make holes in the crossmember and in that newly built bridge. Bolt all that together with the tranny.

Voilą!!!
