The grand piano (or bathtub) corresponds to the shape of the combustion chamber, so putting a piano-top in a 121 is a sure way to ruin lotsa stuff.

There were two or three levels of piano: the highest ones equate to 9.5:1. The 121 pistons could go up to 10:1 in a 121 head.
