Anybody looked at the E30 sport seats as a replacment option?

I also have an E30 and like the sport seats. Seems like there is quite a supply of them for sale, and most of them are in reasonable shape and fair price, including the back seat.

I'm wondering if my bimmer will puke up all over itself if I bolt something from a rice burner in there!

They damned well fit real easily. You use the stock 02 rails. Pull a nice set of first-gen integra seats and clean those monsters up. Take your seats out and take the rails off.

Get your trusty 3/8" drill out. You take the 02 rails and drill out the front seat mounting hole to accept the 12mm bolt that the integra has. You then measure 27.5 cm back (i think that is the measurement I could get it exactly if anyone needs it) from the front hole and drill out a second hole to mount the second bolt to the seat. Then just clean up the old horsehair off the carpet and bolt these seats in using the stock 4 bolts and stock rail utilizing the stock seat distance adjuster. Don't forget to lubricate the tracks!

$22!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Real side bolsters and decent leg/thigh support. $22!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (And two hours of work).
