That line runs back to the tank, to the port that is NOT the sender assembly. Just cap it off, and as long as you've still got the charcoal canister or have vented the canister line to the air cleaner, you'll be fine.

If you plug both lines you'll have a lot of fumes in the trunk and possibly leakage up through the sender seal, BTDT.
