I have no idea? You have got me there. I was told that they are Bilstein struts but I don't have any more info than that. I thought they were pretty typical until I ready your message. Is there supposed to be more hardware on the top? I tried once to move the spacers to the top but couldn't compress the spring enough to get the space out- got frustrated - quit. That is a battle for another day :)
