Stupid ? Number 1:

Halfway down on the brake fluid resv. is plastic tube which has a braided line over which in turn leads to a metal line (going to clutch slave?). The braided hose is a leaking mess. What do I replace this with????

Brew '73 Solo II (ITB?) Project

Go to an auto parts store and ask for some brake fluid hose. It usually comes in a blue outer braid. Don't use fuel line, it won't last as long and will start to break down inside.
