While shopping for suspension parts, I've come across a few used pieces. Is this wise, for the most part? I realize that mileage and type of driving would have a lot to do with shocks/springs, but what about sway bars? Do they get 'tired' after a lot of use? Currently I'm thinking I should just pick up new bilsteins and H&R's, and get used sway bars and strut braces.

thoughts?

....is that your approach is viable. I wouldnot buy used shocks or springs unless they were almost new and I could verify that. I would consider used sway bars and stress bars assuming they did not come off a dedicated race car and/or my intended use was not for a dedicated race car. In fact, I salvage and reuse sway bars and stress bars as the opprotunity arises.
