If there is ANY sign of oil leak around the shifter rod then change the seal before you put in Redline. Its done without opening the trans.

Welcome back! I just dropped the five speed out of my donor car, which is a 72 2002. It looks like the conversion was conducted by a PO because of the poor quality of everything. Anyways, tomorrow I clean the thing and change in some MTL. Then I get to pull the engine out, then cut the poor thing (bent shell) into bits!
