mush at that speed. they say he died of "blunt trauma" to his head, but *all* his organs, etc., must have been turned extra squishy in the impact crushing themselves against the torso wall... In a street car, pretty much anything over 45-65mph is an automatic lethality. Makes you want to spring for a t034 (?) chromemolly roll cage and a six-point harness and better brakes and more following distance and lane discipline and a set of "other drivers" that had the mere whisper of a scintilla of an idea of what the hell they are doing. Not a 02 pilot, but a great driver nonetheless.
Dale was killed today at Daytona. A good reminder that even the best can slip. Be careful out there folks.
