help with manual choke (archive)

greetings and salutations...

My '73 had an automatic choke. Pump 2 times and turn the key. my "new" '74 has a manual choke, and I can't seem to get the hang of it.

Pull, then turn key? Any pumping involved? How long do I leave it out for (besides the obvious until it stalls answer!).

Any help would be appreciated.
