I.e.
old school w/ chrome accents & chromed plastic housing; plain black with black housing; plain black with fake wood grain housing.
I just stuck an old chrome one in my '70 1600-2 (because I think they look better), and was just curious if perhaps it is the right one after all.
(Matt from Max., if you're reading this, it's the cluster you sent me...I cleaned/repainted it and happily ALL the lights work and ALL the gauges work - just got a jumpy gas gauge, surprise :))
Also, my car has been hors de combat for a month because my spring broke through the "box" it rests on in the rear wheel well. A local guy made a thick plate that is contoured to the "box" the spring rests on with a hole for the bump stop (?) - it works perfectly! And a much cheaper fix than a new shock tower assembly, for sure. Caveat - my shocktower is otherwise very strong. I would not suggest this on a weak one!
