Even after looking at the instruction video, I was still skeptical since the product is water base, but decided to give it a try on the upper aluminum trim. First let me explain that I decided to buff the aluminum trim removing the anodizing since it was less expensive than buying a new set. Putting the trim coat on was easier than I thought. After several pieces, the job went rather quickly. The secret is learning how to use a hairdryer properly to get rid of the bubbles. Thought that the treatment would last perhaps a month or so since the trim may scratch or peel. I've driven the car daily, including a drive from Colorado Springs to Dallas. The car's been washed a number of times. It's been six months since it's been applied and the trim is as shiny as when it was first put on. I'm sold. It's been used on the aluminum window and vertical pillar trim with great results.
