Talk to Paul at Maximillian's. I have a 71 '02 as well and wanted to change the non inertia belts to the inertia kind. He told me that they carry the belts which were installed in the Turbo '02 and will work in a 71. The mounting point for the shoulder restraint is not on the cross member which seperates the the front window from the rear (like in the later 2002's) but under the rear passenger door panel where a nut should be welded which accepts the shoulder restraint bolt. I actually ordered these belts but returned them since I was able to acquire a nice set of original belts (the previous owner had cut off the shoulder restraints for the front seats making the belts secured only at the lap). The "Turbo" type belts were around $130 - $140 a side...
