I am installing a head and the gasket install sheet shows only Nm spec for the torque sequence.
It says:
step 1 37 +/-3
step 2 60 +/-2
relax time 15 min
step 3 33 +/-3
warm up to 80 C
step 4 25 +/-5
What are these specs in ft/lbs and why do they seem so low?
I found a conversion table that says multiply the Nm by 0.73?
Or is it the other way around?; multiply by 1.35 to get the ft/lb conversion?
anyone please??
thanks much,
Brian C
