The orginal line is white plastic (like Delrin), for some reason rubber was not recommended.

However, if you remove the hose from the slave and do not cap it, then fluid will drip out if your clutch pedal return spring is broken (which many are). If you have a good pedal return spring, not much will leak out. My pedal spring is good, so I just put a rubber bleeder screw cap on the end of the line.

master cyl. of fluid? right now Ive got the hose pinched with vice grips.
