I'm getting all my suspension stuff this week, including all poly bushings. However, the rubber in my control arms is pretty much new; should i just leave those in or would that defeat the purpose of using urethane? What will the difference be in the *control arms*, urethane vs rubber? Will the steering just feel tighter and more precise? (and more harsh :)thx

I have the new stok rubber bushings in the control arms on my 68 and put new urethane in my friends 72 so we have a new condition comparison.
We both have bilstein sports/H&R springs, big bars
everything else is the same.
There isnt much noticeable difference between the two except for reduced lateral flex of the control arms. The ride is not an issue.
Some have complained of squeaking from urethane bushings but if you grease them well they wont.
good luck,
Brian C
