Does the rear 1/2 of the floor pan ever rust? (archive)

I've got a mostly intact floor pan out and have got the inner rockers off. Should I save the rear half of the floor pan (it's kinda large)? It seems to me it's normally the drivers and pass. footwell areas that typically rust (ie., the front 1/2 of floor pan). What about the tunnel too, should it be saved? I don't think they ever rust. It seems to be the best thing, unless I want to turn our place into an wrecking yard, is just to salvage the floor bottom pieces for patch inserts. Oh, and what about roofs? That's another large piece I'd rather not store. Comments?
Thanks.
