of these cars are. They seem to be made of thcker sheet metal and are well reinforced. The big pickup that hit me was doing about 40-50mph. My trunk, lid and 1/4 panels were crumpled, but the rest of the car stood up ok. Most of today's cars would have been squished to nothing in comparison. The square tailight cars are even stiffer due to the 5mph bumper reinforcement. Unfortunately though, a person's body absorbs a lot of the impact. How is your back? Any long term effects?
