was a story in the media that the manufacturers (Mercedes, Jaguar (Ford), BMW, Honda, Toyota(from '02))were unhappy that Media companies own 75% of the F1 organisation, and are pushing for "Pay per View". They were theatening to fform their own championship, that was for Free to air television. Hmmmmmm, I wonder if anything will happen?

Without Speedvision to watch it on its pretty much killed the interest in America. Speedvision is only recently available for me and at a huge premium add-on to the cable channel line-up. I've been following F1 for many years but I just can't justify the expense. I can't believe ESPN or FoxSports have no interest in it anymore. All that effort bringing F1 to Indy last year is for nothing now.

The BMW V10 powered Williams of Schuey Jr took the lead at the first corner in Italy, and left everyone behind! Unfortunately his team mate Montoya, suffered a mechanical failure and didn't finnish the race.
Positions 1. R Schumacher Williams BMW 2. D Coultard Mclaren Mercedes 3. R Barricello Ferrari

Hope its the start of many more wins for the Williams BMW team.
