Estimated 8 hours to install? Geez. Pass on that.
I think just as effective if not more would be a simple 12volt heater/blower mounted low down in the window. You could even plug it in only when the weather requires it. Cheap too at around $10-12. JCW has these too. You could use the existing wiring too.

I need to replace my rear (and front) windshield seals, so i thought now would be a good time to do something about the rear defroster; it is corroded to hell (as they all are). I was considering using the kit from JC Whitney, then mildly tinting the window. Anybody use this kit, or have any other suggestions? Tried using that conductive paint, but it does not go far, and looks like crap IMHO. Thanks in advance. Happy Easter!!!
