You'll be pleasantly amazed at the improvement over the stock Solex. You'll still get reasonable gas mileage. If you want more speed, there's the 38/38 and then dual carbs. By then, you'll probably want at least a hotter cam. If you want more HP, then it starts to get expensive since you'll be needing higher compression, porting, maybe headers, ignition upgrade. Then with higher speed on tap, you'll need a big brake upgrade, front and rear. And with the higher speeds, you'll then want lower springs, stiffer shocks and wider rims and tires.

And it can go on from there for those who find that isn't enough. If you want to blow away M cars, you could get a bigger bang for the buck by doin' it to an 02.

It just needs $$, time and motivation along with a little mechanical aptitude.

You can do it all with an 02.

I'm quite happy with the stock Tii 130HP (when it's on form).
