Here's the GS Tuning 320i Group 5 race car, 1979.

I took this photo in 1979 while living in Germany. This shot was taken in the pits at Nurburgring. This car just struck me at the time because of the really large ground effects. Anyway - had just this one shot. Pity, didn't know at the time I didn't know what value that under hood shot would come in handy for a way out engine setup once I got bit by the 2002 bug.

Nikon F2A, 28mm Nikkor Lens, Kodachrome 25. 1/250 @ f5.6
