The total overall length for me was 59-3/4" but this could be different on your car depending on the state of your diff mountings, engine mountings etc, etc. The only way to be sure is to take measurements with the trans in place. Don't forget to add the dimensions of the quibo too.

How much does the driveshaft need to be shortened? I noticed that the driveshaft out of the 320i is about 2 inches shorter than the original 2002 driveshaft. Will it bolt in or is the 5-spd more than 2 inches longer than the 4-spd.
