whats up denis,
im puttin an '89 325i in my 74 02 aswell! sorry i dont know much about 323's or 320's but i do know that you dont need to use the whole tii gas tank (i dont think). The 2002 (1602) fuel sender is probably going to be too small so what im doing is using a 530i sender (and pump) which has a larger pipe for more fuel to the engine.

Since all the metal in the front of my car is all mangled i dont have to worry about cutting too much, so i've cut out the two supporting brackets that support the hood so i can slide the rad down on the outside (i will use pins to hold the hood down, or fabricate brackets that go somwhere else). Like Colin said, they dont make those short water pumps anymore. The oil cooler will go somewhere between the rad and the grill.

The problem im having is what the hell to do about the engine mounts. The 2002 mounts dont fit (theres not enough metal to drill new holes either)

Anyway...got any other problems or questions email and i'll try to help. good luck dude.
