How much does the driveshaft need to be shortened? I noticed that the driveshaft out of the 320i is about 2 inches shorter than the original 2002 driveshaft. Will it bolt in or is the 5-spd more than 2 inches longer than the 4-spd.

Also, the drive shaft center bearing needs to be in the same relative location.
