missed a lot of things on the "shopping list" I do indeed need a complete gasket set. The head I believe was recently re-built by his P.O. and the compression was very strong on the engine before. Looks like the car is running/was running rich when I saw the head. I figure if he cleans it up some it would be good. He is on a very limited budget, so some things are not doable. The one connecting rod basically hammered out the bearing, and so it should be checked for straightness. Otherwise, he really doesn't have the money to do everything to the engine. He told me to post a few things... and so I quickly did it. I think all he needs is a crank (or repolish existing), a set of bearings, a check on the one con rod, and a lil clean up and some hard work.
