Mid-Atlantik '02 Fest II (Thanks!) (archive)

Just a quick note from the "Event Organizer"...."Thank You" to all the great attendees for being wonderful to work with all day long....organizing one of these events is alot of work as I'm sure you must realize, and it made my tasks much easier having great '02 owners & enthusiasts like you all who attended the event!!

I hope everyone all made it home safely.....sorry for the rainstorm at the close of the event, and here I was certain God drove an '02 (he just keeps me guessing ).

After a good night sleep last night, Judy and I actually found time to drive the "scenic tour" route compiled by David Roach before leaving the Front Royal, VA area this morning.

The '73tii drove like a champ round trip...tii's are indeed sweet on the highway .

For the record...there were 65 '02's/1600's (including some very unique examples!!)...watch for the article in an upcoming Roundel! Two cars didn't quite make it to the event, so technically, there were 67 cars!!!!

I had several cancelations before the event, for various reasons (family emergencies, work, etc.), otherwise we would have easily been close to 80 cars!

I'm bushed...catch you all later!
