I had never done any suspension work whatsoever, and now i'm halfway through putting mine back together (i took out entire front and rear).

It would make it a LOT easier if you had a shop with all the nice tools, but i did it without. only thing i didn't have was a 4 point puller and balljoint tool, which i 'rented' for free from Canadian Tire. (they will 'borrow' out specialty tools).

go for it, its fun.
