The e-bay administration is so full of S**T (archive)

I listed two identical items on e-bay with closing times fairly close to each other, and even indicated that they were duplicate items. Both items were accessible to bidders, then they cut one off by saying "This functionality is currently unavailable". I e-mailed e-bay to find out what's going on and get this response:

"Hello,

Thank you for reporting the problems you had accessing portions of our
site. We are aware that many features were unavailable for a period of
time and these issues have now been resolved"

What? Still can't access one of the items. Seems like e-bay does whatever they want and give you BS answers. I wish there was an alternative to e-bay. I'm getting tired of their crap.

If they don't smarten up, they'll go the way of the other failed dotcomers.
