The drilling into the shock towers didn't really bother me - just put some silicone in the holes when you put the bolts through and make sure everything is sealed up. The hardware is stainless, which helps a bit. No evidence of rust yet.
I like the bar, particularly the battery relocation feature, which opens up the engine compartment quite nicely. As far as handling, I really didn't notice much difference when I installed the rear bar - the front made a world of difference on turn-in.
Hi All
Has anyone tried Top-End Performace's rear brace and battery relocation tray?
Insights, comments, quality of product and ease of installation? Is the company responsive, (ie, some of you seem to wait a month of Sunday's for Ireland to ship).
Also, about the product. It seems to require drilling into the rear shock towers to mount. As this is the killer rust spot, this seems a bit wierd to me. anyone have one rust out there after drilling?
Thanks in Advance
David
