My guess is gas has evaporated. Spray some carb cleaner into the air cleaner and jump in and crank. It should fire if just for a few revs. If it does pull the gas line and put it over a container and crank and see if ypu get gas. As I said the ignition doesn't evaporate although it may not be great it should still start it up with a little gas.

I recently bought a '76 with the purpose of being a daily driver, possibly a project car. I think I might have gotten in a bit over my head. As time goes by and money is spent it is still not on the road, and I am frustrated. So, I am wondering if I should jump ship for something a bit more practical or stick with it. Like I said, it's a '76, formerly a California car (very little rust, none on shock towers or rocker panels), got a 32/36 and a 5sp, ran last Nov. but won't start now. How much could I get for it if I decided to sell it (ball park)?
