I finally picked it up!!! Sunroof/a.c. Inka "72 with zero rust and perfect original paint. 90K orig miles. Not even one dent!! Yes I am very stoked. This is my last post on the board as leaving for europe June-August. Look for me at fest west 2001!

It's been a wondrful year...not to mention I discovered this board and it's been very helpful. You guys are great. One more thing regarding the car it was built Nov '71 making it an early '72 and has the '71 style non retractable seat belts. I always had thought ALL '72's had the retractable (easier to work with ) belts. Just goes to show still learning about these great cars. Oh yeah the early '72's also have the "early" style heater control face plate. The fridgeking console is very well put together unlike the behr console. Keep the faith rust free cars do come up from time to time keep hunting...it took six months of negotiations to finally put together a deal on this car but it was the orig owner and the attatchment was strong. He had a tear in his eye as I pulled away. Everyone take care have a good summer get those cars on the road! -a
