I did this about a year ago but here's what I remember. Put the all the bolts in a much as possible. Put a long heavy bolt in one of the side trans mount attaching holes in the block. Put a closed end wrench on one of the flywheel bolts and let it stop against the long bolt. Now you've stopped it and you can use a torque wrench on one or more of the flywheels bolts and continue this technique for the rest of them.
