I think the best way is to make a tool out of a small piece of angle iron. Cut about a 2" piece of 1" angle iron and drill a hole through one end. Then bolt the piece to one of the trans mounting holes so it jams the ring gear on the flywheel. Torque the flywheel to spec, then romove the tool and save it for future use.
