If it ran before, and nothing broke, it should run now. It sounds like you need someone to assist you that knows 2002s well. They are not fussy to keep running at all, nor are they expensive to fix if you can supply the labor yourself. The people on this board are always more than happy to offer skilled advice, or even actual in-person help if you live nearby.
