a little isopropyl alcohol will make it run cleaner temporarily also. My jetta was pretested as a gross polluter until we let it warm up a little bit more. I kind of think this had to do with the fuel injection running richer because of the warm-up circuit but also fuel does burn more easily when it is hotter. GOOD LUCK!!
