I had this problem on my Momo alpina wheel, I repaired it by pulling the round plastic "holder" for the brass contact out little,and carefully placing a bead of epoxy around the holder. brings the contact maybe 2mm closer for spring contact. It,s worked ever since! This problem did not stop the car from starting.
