You might smell exhaust in the cabin so drive with the windows open. Other than that and the previously mentioned noise, you should be fine. Keep in mind that the exhaust is going to be hotter without the pipe to act as a heat sink, so make sure the area where it is exiting is pretty oil free. Maybe you should buy some small extensions from a shop and use the clamps to bolt them together, just so you have a little more "heatsink".

I didnt make it to the muffler shop on saturday and I need to leave early tommorow morning. Could driving with a straight header cause any damage (Besides to my ears!)?
Somebody told me today that if I drive without an exhaust I could warp the cylinder head. Is this BS or am I safe?
