I run DCOE's and I like them alot, make great power and noise. I have ridden in a track car w/ a 40/40 and power seemed about the same up to 7000. For a car that is run used mostly on the street I would think 40/40 for ease of setup and not having to balance vrs. a little more top end. Plus 40/40 is 1/2 the price of new DCOE's.
Just my thoughts.

Do DCOE's give low end torque comparable to the 38/38? I have also heard it is hard to get a good idle. I the top end flow of the 38/38 comparable to DCOE's? Any reccomendations? I have 9.5:1 pistons w/total seal rings, Top End performance head rebuild with 288 camshaft, Pertronix with blue coil, 4-into 1
header, I will also have 2.25 exhaust with a freeflow magnaflow muffler.TIA
