was adviced to replace the little rubber O-rings (part # 13 51 1 257 558)that go into the k-fisher. according to the mobile traditions parts catalog diagram (13_0684) it goes between the hex head bolt (the four that sit in a row on top of the k-fisher and between the injector lines) and the suction valve that sits under the hex bolt. when i took out the hex headed bolts on my k-fisher there were NO O-rings in there at all. now, up to this point i haven't had any real problems with my k-fisher. and i've always felt that if it ain't broke don't fix it. however i want the k-fisher to be put together the way it's supposed to be. here's the question - where does that O-ring really fit? it seems like it fit's OK on the bottom of the hex headed bolt. but i don't want to stick something inside the k-fisher that may wind up floating away and stuck inside some delicate fuel mechanism. does anyone out there know if i mount this O-ring on the bottom of the hex bolt? thanks guys tim 72tii
