32/36 or better yet a 38/38. It will run just fine. Don't worry about the trans, run it till it drops, used 4 speeds are dirt cheap, and easy to replace. If you have a 5 speed, they are pretty cheap, too. You probably have a bad input shaft bearing, mine has been growling away for about five years now, hasn't broken yet. Good luck with that fine new automobile.
