Shaving the floats is a new one to me. How do I go about doing that? Aren't the floats hollow? Rob
First of all congrats on the 3rd place. Good to see 02s out there whippin' up.

As far as fuel starvation I believe that some people actually shave the floats down so that in the corner the float isn't affected by the gas sloshing to one side of the bowl. The foam thing sounds like asking for trouble but I've never raced either. I would vote for the electronic ignition for sure. It will help but also take a variable out of the way for you making the car easier to tune etc.
