On non-hydraulic clutch setups there's a coil spring that keeps the fork tight up against the actuating rod. We can't do this easily on the hydraulic setup because it pushes the actuating rod back into the slave cylinder. I suppose a spring gizmo that attaches the fork to the slave actuating rod might work.
Hmmmm. . . my clutch fork is tight against the actuating rod, and no rattles. I wonder why you have a gap. Generally a hydraulic clyinder is not going to retract more than its pushed.
I'll remind you of the obvious - your clutch lines free and clean of debris? cluch slave bled and not leaking? did you use the right t/o bearing?
